Melanie and Jordan’s modern black and white wedding at Park31 was one of our favorite ways we started the year! Having to go through all of the ups and downs of the previous year, including a reschedule, it felt like it all made sense when their big day came. We reworked their design and totally changed up the original color scheme. What was a pastel, summer palette became an elegant, neutral concept perfect for a January date. Before the ceremony, Melanie and her father shared a sweet first look moment. The whole room was in tears! She gave him a customized baseball and they had a couple rounds of catch to play. Melanie and Jordan had their ceremony offsite at St. Joseph of Honey Creek. We love the close proximity of this Catholic church to the venue – literally minutes down the road!

Remember that gorgeous design we told you about? Evember totally knocked it out of the park with their beautiful, modern floral designs. Would you look at those orchids?! I love how even with just a few pieces they make a significant impact.
Once the pair returned from the church it was time for photos along the property. Park31 has so many picturesque spaces – it’s literally the perfect backdrop!
One of the most exciting things (for us at least!) about this day was the debut of our champagne wall. You’ve seen it featured here before (even in a different color), but these two were the catalyst that started this trend. We’re so grateful to our clients who trust us with their design – it’s always so much fun to bring it to life!
One of our favorite things to see that night (both in person and reliving through their photos) was how Jordan looked at Melanie. You could tell he loves her with all his heart, and it was so wonderful to be a part of this sweet day! We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
